HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Working at an on-going construction and operational area, workers and staffs are engaged in many activities that may expose them towards hazards, such as falling objects, falling from heights, electric shocks and many more. For prevention and corrective action, EHS Department is committed to ensure a safe working environment for all TBSB staff.
 
There are many initiatives and approaches that are currently taken in order to ensure that all workers and staffs are aware of the presence of hazards. Thus, EHS department conducts weekly toolbox meeting among staff, monthly internal and external safety trainings, monthly site walk-about and ‘U See U Act’ Programme to ensure that all staff aware of all possible hazards.

In environmental perspective, EHS Department always come up with effective and systematic approaches. In the use / storage of chemical, EHS Department has also advice on the build up of Chemical Warehouse as per DOE / Bomba requirements and standby Spillage Equipment / Absorbent are available in case of an emergency.
